  • The Big Thistle program that looks at recruitment into the tourism industry in Scotland to be investigated, Karen Long should have some information to share.   Lisa Johnston
  • Project has had it date extended until the 31 August 2006.

  • A Cross County Consultative Group to be formed to investigate the relevance of the content of the (WTB) Develop Your Business Workshops and also to discuss how the trade can be encouraged to participate in resulting workshops. Gallu Team

  • Congratulations to Gallu Team from CO, GD and DJ for good progress with the project to date. Lisa Johnston

  • Sector Specific working, Pembrokeshire getting more involved with events/festivals CO suggested working in partnership and linking with Planed.  Lowri Edwards

  • The go ahead has been received to deliver a pilot seminar in NPT on the licensing applications. Michelle Evans
  • Agreed that Gallu should apply for the NTA however not to pin its hopes on winning.  Lisa Johnston
  • CO suggested that the possibility of a West Wales Tourism Business Awards (as the Gallu farewell at the W W Hospitality Forum) be brought up at the next W Wales Hospitality Panel meeting in June(Agenda Item). Lisa Johnston
  • Go ahead given to book the New Morfa Stadium for the next W Wales Hospitality Forum.  Lisa Johnston

  • Confirm with Lowri that the room at Pemb Tourism is available for the Panel meeting in June.  Lisa  Johnston
  • Quirky invites possibly showing seat allocation and resemblance of an invoice for the West Wales Hospitality Forum to be thought of as a way of trying to get the trade involved. Gallu Team
  • A procedure should be put in place to monitor how many bookings for workshops are done on line in comparison with other methods i.e. telephone.  Gallu Team
  • Gallu Evaluation Date has been altered to the 26 July 2005 to allow attendance at the Royal Welsh Show.  Gallu Team – Michelle to alter room booking at Castle Hotel.
