KR is to speak to WEFO regarding the possibilities of viring the unspent monies in childcare to room hire and refreshments.
Customer Care mystery evening can be ongoing however they will need to costed before hand and targeted at completely new people to the project- those who have not engaged to date. LE
The steering group gave approval for the DVD however it was requested by GD that 2 other companies be asked to tender. GD to supply contact details to LJ to action.
Steering group advised that workshops for this stream of funding were to finish no later than February Half Term 2007. GALLU TEAM
Tourist Association affiliation membership was discussed and that TA could potentially have a new market in training providers. It is vital that there be some bench mark that training providers must pass in order to become a member of the Tourist Association. This should be done through questionnaire, references and where appropriate interview. Gallu should oversee this as the HRD specialist for the Tourist Associations. LJ to meet with NH to find a way forward.
LJ and DJ to get together to discuss process for training provider selection.
Go ahead was given for BTM particularly if some sort of benchmark could be agreed and achieved. LJ
RTP and LA could utilise Tourist Association open meetings to discuss marketing opportunities with the trade encouraging and highlighting the benefits or regional and local thematic campaigns. GD LJ
LJ to draft a letter to Antur Teifi, for signature by CO. It is to explain the concerns over the Trainlink3 project.
LJ to discuss with Team and Castle Hotel what can be done in the future for admin support.
Hospitality Panel is to remain on the 20th September. A different venue to be sourced other than the Nat Bot, suggested perhaps Lankser Business Centre? GALLU TEAM
