DJ – To speak to DCELLS about finding a representative for the West Wales Hospitality Panel
Gallu – It was agreed that a calendar on the Gallu website should be produced to ensure that local and regional events were all included for use by the trade. It was agreed that this needed to be discussed with the TA’s.
DJ – waiting for a date to meet with the Visit Wales Quality Inspectors and HRD Advisors.
GD – Needs to make an appointment to meet Pam Sutton.
The Priority Sector Funding was discussed in depth and it was agreed that we have to ensure that we play an active role in it. The action was to invite Coleg Sir Gar, Trinity College and Pembrokeshire College to a meeting in the New Year at the St Brides Hotel to discuss how all parties can move forward together to meet the same objectives. It was agreed to concentrate on the Pembrokeshire Haven Spatial Plan area first and then move on to meet the Swansea Bay area in the future. It was agreed that a letter would go out to invite the Principals of each college with their tourism/hospitality heads of department; the letter will be sent jointly by the chairs of TTFW and SWWTP. It was agreed that DJ and CO would draft a letter and find a suitable date – DJ and CO
LE stated that some courses had been cancelled due to a poor take up. The group suggested keeping an eye on take up and asking the trade why they are not booking – Gallu
The group suggested sending a link to the trade to the new Gallu website when it goes live via the TA Newsletters to launch it – Gallu
Once the Mystery Visits are carried out with CCC Gallu can then use this information to promote the scheme – LE

GD wanted everyone to feedback on the Destination Marketing Organisation (DMO) Review – All
GD stated that provision needs to be in place for Easter 2010 if Gallu is not here.
