Tim Giles presented his idea for working more closely with larger tourism SME’s to ascertain their needs.  It was decided that case by case needed to be brought before the steering group if there was anything that the CTA felt Gallu ought to assist with.  TG

 

The new Company Learning Account is to be investigated when it is ready for promotion to see if it could assist the CTA in the above matter. DJ

 

Legislative Issues that industry have should be dealt predominantly with by the Tourist Associations however it was thought that where there was a large number of businesses after a particular topic Gallu may be able to assist.  LJ to monitor and speak to TG

 

LJ to double check with Karen Long that she has received information regarding the Gallu mid Term Evaluation so that it can feed into the SSA.

 

The pricing of the recipe book is to be worked out and discussed after the TTFW Team meeting on Thursday LJ & DJ

 

The answer to the question on the Appraisal forms regarding how much would you pay for this workshop if funding was no longer available needs to be collated.  DL

 

LJ has been given permission to sit on the YE Area Board for NPT.

 

It was agreed that Carmarthenshire Workshops may be organised and facilitated by both Lowri and Michelle in order to permit sometime for Lisa to investigate other HR issues in South West Wales and to develop her skills at Strategic Planning etc. LJ

 

When the website for the thematic campaigns become live in 2 weeks time they need to be investigated to see if workshops can assist businesses in not only inputting their information on to the site but also to help explain to those tourism businesses indirectly what the campaigns are highlighting. GALLU

 

A meeting has been arranged between LJ and Matthew Evans to discuss Gallu, LJ has requested that it be ascertained exactly what questions Matthew Evans might pose during this meeting so that as many questions as possible may be answered on the day. GD

 

The holiday Planner was discussed and it was decided that badges would not be used a certificate would be OK, DJ suggested waiting to find out what was going to happen with Welcome Host before progressing further.
