ACTION POINTS

  • It was queried whether all tourist associations had opened up HRD specific accounts for the registration fees Gallu is collecting on their behalf.  GALLU TEAM TO INVESTIGATE
  • Details of the Hospitality Forum Event and the TNA to go on the Gallu website, use graphs etc.  ME AND LJ
  • Arrange a business advisors (Vaqas, Opportunity Wales, WTB etc) meeting at Aberglasney where they can be told about Gallu this will help to push it the fore of their minds when dealing with the tourism trade. LJ
  • Peter Cole will be approached about our Millennium stadium and centre visit from W Wales Trade this info to be liaised back to Lisa or Michelle at Gallu. GD
  • Funding may be available via the RTP to assist with trade days to places like the Waterfront Museum – contact Gary Davies. GALLU TEAM - CTA
  • Julia Watson to be invited to the Hospitality Forum an hour prior to the meeting for a progress report on her skills analysis for Gary and Elwa.  GD
  • IDEA Why not do trade days which are marketed to owners as rewards for their staff members i.e. value your cleaners, value you receptionists etc.
  • Gallu Newsletter to be marketed in Trade Talk, Liaise with Lucy at RTP. LE
  • Report of Gallu Website visitors for next Gallu Exec meeting on the 4th March. LJ IN CO-ORDINATION WITH ME
  • Jugs of Iced water requested for the Tables during the presentations at the West Wales Hospitality Forum. LJ
  • Clare Have-Tang and Eleri to be contacted to discuss the TNA and the input received from various quarters. DJ
  • Find out whether Gallu had an extension given for its start date.  DJ
  • Gallu annual evaluation is to take place at the Castle Hotel in Neath on the 21st July 2005 from 1100 to 1500 Vikki King, Michelle Evans and Lowri Edwards are to be invited.  Centenary Suite to be reserved.  LJ AND ME
