HR Advisor Role - Go ahead given for interested Gallu team members to become involved and, where achieved recognised as HR Business Advisors/IIP advisors.  This is to be done in coordination with TTFW.

CO requested an evaluation of the customer care events to date.  The following information to be provided at the next Gallu Exec Meeting:

 

  • Cost Breakdown and totals
  • No of people attending
  • Match funding in kind received
  • Anecdotal feedback

 

The next customer care steering group meeting is to be arranged and, the actors are to be consulted regarding different scenarios that the customer care awareness raising could continue with.  What might the cost implications of this be? To be reported back at the next Gallu Exec.  LE

 

DVD/Film

The following questions need to be answered:

 

What is the DVD/Film for?  Who is it to be targeted at? How do I get it too my target audience?

 

GD suggested a CD Rom disguised as a Business Card that could be given out selectively, it would have max a 2/3 minute production which would end with a link to the website/online questionnaire.

LJ to discuss with HE and come up with the answers and a quote.

 

West Wales Hospitality Panel and Gallu Annual Evaluation.

Preliminary findings of the research into TTFW particularly any feedback regarding Gallu should be highlighted/presented at the W W Hospitality Panel meeting on the 21 June 06.  Gallu should also prepare a Presentation as was in the mid term evaluation and also highlight any appropriate findings from the IT Evaluation taking place in the coming months. CO is to contact Barbara Priest and check her position within WAG and whether or not she is still in a position to assist with the Gallu project LJ to do the same for Lynne Jones.

 

 

West Wales Hospitality Forum to be put onto the next Exec Group Agenda. LJ

 

LJ and DJ to review Karleigh Corcoran’s contract at the next steering group meeting.

 

CO suggested that an appropriate bouquet of flowers be sent to MM when the baby is born, for the entire steering group and Team.  LJ

 

LJ to discuss the Awards sponsorship.  To date Gallu has not been financially involved with the other Tourist Association Awards/Balls other than to donate their time and expertise in assisting with the organisation of same.  It would be unfair to do any different with TSB, finally Gallu is part of TSB and as such should work together on such things.

 

LJ advised that after discussions with members of Tourism Swansea Bay, Gallu would from next month have a presence on the management committee of Tourism Swansea Bay.  KC

 

 

Next Gallu Exec meeting is on the 24 May 06 at 10am.  Unless notified otherwise it will be at the Coach House, Aberglasney.
