LJ to email GD Gallu Survey that is currently being sent out to Gallu participants.
A Business Plan/Exit Strategy needs to be commenced in June 06 (at the project review) for post March 07 so that we can start to highlight the plans for the future of the project LJ to put on agenda.
LJ mentioned the SSC for the retail industry was very informative and thought there may be scope for Gallu to do something similar albeit on a lesser scale for S W Wales. It was highlighted that Gallu’s strength lies in its ability to work closely and consult with trade and that is where is should focus its energy. CO
CO proposed that future of Gallu should focus on a number of topics:
- Serious customer care action needs to take place and that consistent continuous professional development which could include sense of place and profitability should be considered. DJ said that successful schemes could potentially feed into the new/revised Welcome Host.
- Changing employer Practise
- Economically Inactive

The next W W Hospitality Forum Meeting (Feb 8th ) is to be put on the agenda for the next steering group meeting. LJ
Maternity Leave cover is to be investigated. LJ
Lisa is to meet with the TA’s to discuss Michelle and Lowri’s increased Roles. LJ
