The Workforce Development Plan that LJ was working on with People 1st is to be put on the back burner however LJ to carry on with a focus on S W Wales.  LJ

Richard - Oakwood Park, Janet Havard, Jennie Evans Geraint Bowen and Phil Drakeford need to be approached regarding the HR Steering Group.  LJ

Amendments to the Hospitality Panel Agenda to be made and sent out today LJ

It was agreed that maternity cover needs to be sourced asap, LJ to send out interview invites to the applicants to date.  Interviews are to be held on the 7th Feb at the The Castle Hotel Neath.  LJ

Each applicant is to be asked to prepare 1 10 minute presentation under the title’ what makes people successful in tourism businesses in South West Wales’  LJ

6 questions are to be prepared and LJ to organise appointments etc.  Lowri is to requested to be the meet and greet for the interviews so she has an opportunity to meet candidates and get a feel for them.  LJ

Programme for Interviews:

10 minutes presentation

10 minutes questions from panel

10 minutes questions from applicant

45 minutes to be allowed per applicant

Sarah Downes, Eleri Jones, Jennie Evans and Andrew Campbell to be approached to see if they have anyone they might be able to recommend for the position. DJ

The increase in costs to employ 2 x Swansea Bay Facilitators at the same time is to be worked out by KR and also to double check how much can be reclaimed form SMP payments made by TTFW

Keep eyes and ear open for a Billy Dixon type trainer to carry out master classes for those business who have reached a high level who could be pushed that little bit further.  i.e. Prof John Lennon.
