This workshop will give a basic introduction to three popular social networking sites namely Facebook, Twitter and Trip Advisor. Attendees can either attend the whole course covering the three topics or they can choose one or two of them.
Please state when booking if you would like to attend the whole date or only one or two out of the three sessions.

Facebook has become an essential communication, collaboration, and marketing tool. In Facebook Essential Training, we show how to navigate the world of social networking and put ones best face forward online.
The training covers the basics, starting with creating a profile and finding and adding friends. We then explain how to communicate with friends via status updates, wall posts, chatting, and sharing photos, videos, and web links.
We also touch on the delicate subject of removing friends and respecting other peoples privacy online. The advanced features, including permissions that control what other members can view or comment on, add-in applications, and dedicated Facebook groups, are what make Facebook so popular.

Establishing a profile
Finding, adding, organizing, and deleting friends
Navigating the home page, the news feed, and the Wall
Posting and tagging photos, videos, and links
Sending privates messages and event invitations
Installing and using Facebook applications
Protecting privacy using permissions
Twitter:
In this training session we explain how to use Twitter, an online microblogging service that offers a way to share short bites of information instantly with others.
This course covers how to sign up for a Twitter account (if you dont already have one), send and read Twitter updates (called tweets), and build a network of followers.
The training also describes how to get the most out of Twitter by customizing an individual profile, setting privacy options, following trending topics, and tapping into third-party resources that make it easier to follow and send updates.

Uploading an image or avatar to an account
Setting options to meet specific needs
Using lists
Sharing photos with friends and family
Adding Twitter feeds to web sites
Including hyperlinks in tweets
Following and blocking users
Using SMS
Tweeting for a business
Trip Advisor:
The Tripadvisor services is aimed at giving real reviews on holiday destinations, hotels and accommodation. It is used by millions around the world to make travelling decisions everyday.
This short training session sets out to give you a greater understanding of the service to help you make good decisions and benefit your company business.
The session will also look at how to handle both good and bad reviews to make sure that you maintain a high profile on the service.
