There is more to being a member of a business network than merely attending meetings. The cost of membership and the time invested can seem high if you are not getting the benefits you anticipated. Making the most of business networking opportunities is what this networking workshop is all about.
By attending networking events you have made a commitment to networking as part of your marketing strategy. Networking is all about reaching your target audience (customers, potential customers, suppliers, distributors, the tourism community etc) and getting important messages across about your business and the benefits it can offer.
Networking has become fashionable due to the rise in new businesses entering the market, this has created a need to find a quick and cost effective way to penetrate the market and generate business. Face to face contact is less formal and everyone at the networking events is interested in what you do – after all that is the reason they are there in the first place. However, as there is only one chance to make a good first impression the workshop will address the skills needed to network effectively, promote confidence and project the appropriate business image
