I recently attended two social media courses organised by Gallu and run by Chris Kellett and wanted to write to you to say how much I enjoyed and learnt from both of them.

 

The introduction course was a fantastic overview of how social media can be used within businesses and a great insight into future technological developments.  We had already set up our Facebook and Twitter accounts but still found it very useful in terms of understanding how quickly you can get information out there onto search engines and the importance of this to our business.

 

The second course was a lot more practical and I was positively buzzing at the end of the day about the new skills and fantastic (free!) software programmes Chris had introduced us to.  I now have a big, long list of ideas of things we could (and should) be doing!

 

I find Chris Kellett to be an extremely knowledgable and personable tutor and he has a real enthusiasm for providing course attendees with the information and tools they need to go out and get started with social media.

 

I have a marketing background but the whole world of social media is as new to me as anyone else so I found an overview of its growth, its principles and its increasing importance in terms of brand management and direct marketing to customers invaluable.

 

Well done Chris and thank you Gallu for offering these courses!

I must say congratulations for a well organized extremely informative workshop, the presenter chosen was superb, Jo had plenty of experience and knowledge and enabled me to construct an Access Statement for the NBGW in an appropriate language and within the parameters of the Disability Discrimination act 1995.  The venue was pleasant and non threatening, I felt at ease straight away.  Excellent!!
